Our Programs

After School Enrichment Programming

Classroom Visits, Non-Profit and Homeschool Groups

Classroom Visits, Non-Profit and Homeschool Groups

Our after school enrichment program includes interactive story times, cooperative games,  art activities, exploring the school garden and cultivating a love of nature and earth. Rooted Readers is geared to children 4 years old through 2nd grade.

A wide range of award-winning and kid favorite books will be read and explored, accompanied by a connected garden activity: seeds, soil, plant life cycles, composting, worms, flowers, bees, bugs and more. Rooted Readers helps kids better understand an individual's impact on the earth and environment through books and gardens.

Rooted Readers supports Literacy, the Sciences of Biology and Ecology, and Climate Change Solutions

An on-site garden is NOT required to bring Rooted Readers to your school, but if your site does have one, we would love to be able to visit it and explore!

If you are a Denver metro area After School Program or Enrichment Coordinator and interested in bringing Rooted Readers to your school or organization, please contact us at RootedReadersDenver@gmail.com.

Pricing is based on your school or organization's Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) rates. Please contact us for a quote.
